How Did You Become a Motivational Thinker at a Young Age?

At a young age, you made this conscious decision to let your interest guide you. Why do you think that you were self aware enough to have that realization at such a young age? I wouldn't say i was self awarein that it was consciousness, like, ok, i'm going to make thei'm tis is me reflecting right now, looking back at what was happening and how they make their decisions. But ultimately, what i came down to was identifying a different group with whom i wished i would belong.
