What's Happening With Print Culture?

The prose romances of Amadees of Gaul, which are from the late 14th century. They're kind of probably an oral tradition that then gets transcribed written down and becomes part of a print culture. The vast majority of things being printed are just absolute bizarre trash or religious screens. But we get kind of the first secular mass market fiction.
