Warren Buffett said that investing is a no-called strike game, meaning if you stand there with your bat on your shoulder for a thousand straight pitches, you'll never get called out. Boring investors don't chase shiny objects. It's boring, but it's opportunistic as well. You have to be able to put your nose out there and recognize opportunity.
