Why Are We Worried About Zeros Not Being Published?

There's a pre registration idea in clinical trials, or in any kind of randomiz experiments. One is because it gives people bad incentives to go and try to manufacture positive results where they aren't really there. On the sis point, i don't feel like academics rewards replication. Could be very important but we don't typically see replications.
