Based on the pleural fluid studies, we categorize this as a transient date and recommended a more aggressive standing diuretic regimen. She's eventually discharged with a plan for outpatient eval for valve replacement. A 66 year old man has a past ministry of AFib and he's on a pixaban. He was sent to the ED from clinic because he's had progressive dyspnea from multiple weeks. They thought they saw her dullness and they were worried about a pleural fusion. So they sent him in. His initial vitals did show some mild hypoxemia and he was placed on nasal cannula with help to oxygenation. chest x-ray which showed a new unilateral
