Global Positioning Systems Timing Signal

If all the satellites were to go down at once, we're really talking about a complete collapse. And you think about what that does to travel, especially airplanes and flight. Even if it doesn't collapse the entire system, it's just another thing in catapult collapse, right? I read that satellites are going to become much more expensive in the future.
