Soon Jadu's Murder Trial Began in September

Soon Jadu's murder trial was originally scheduled to take place in Compton, near the Empire liquor market. The proceeding was moved to downtown Los Angeles because witnesses and court staff might feel intimidated driving in and out of Compton every day. In August, three Korean owned stores in South Central were firebombed. L.A. Mayor Tom Bradley held a press conference in front of a burned out storefront. He urged everyone to talk out their differences.
