The Tension Between Research-Driven and Product-Driven Approaches
There's a tension between what I consider to be the infrastructure platform engineering even research agenda-driven approach that is like, oh, you don't understand. And I think more of a product engineering, traditional startup mindset that is actually complete the task. Sometimes those types of businesses or approaches work really well. But sometimes they are solely an outgrowth of a vertical product that works really well and then open up the infrastructure for everybody else to use.
