Why Denmark Continued With Energy Transition Strategies After the 1970s?
The U.S. experienced the same shocks in the early 1970s, and particularly the 1973 Arab oil embargo. But Denmark continued along with its energy transition plan after those initial shocks. By 1997, it had gone from being 94% dependent on imported oil to being a net energy exporter.
