How Does Affect Regulation Matter?
When you become dysregulated, your body's greatest need is to return to a regulated state in that four to seven zone. Not everyone's brain has the same ability to self regulate. If you have a history of trauma, you will get dysregulated more often than others unequivocally. The capacity to self regulate is the foundation upon which a functional sense of self develops.
