Kafka's Unfinished Manuscript
Kafka's real genius was in this act of ongoing creation a sort of fluid almost goalless writing it's almost like Leonardo da Vinci's notebooks where he had a hard time finishing a lot of works. He never actually wanted exposed to public scrutiny my sense of him as a writer now is of someone who's just actively producing the material we see in the pashima's papers and now and being able to crystallize some of it take it out and publish it but usually reluctantly and with some ambivalence. I think most people feel grateful that we got what we did get of the papers whatever bro's betrayal of his wishes was and the laxity of that decision is genius
