How Law Enforcement Agencies Can Access Your Data?
Hackers obtain information on users of those services by forging an emergency legal request. That is a mechanism where law enforcement agencies can demand or compel information from tech companies to hand over location and subscriber information. There was no such emergency, and these hackers were still able to obtain individual user data. Not only does not require a warrant, doesn't really require any sort of judicial sign off.
