The Bodhicitta
Some of the Mahayana sutras, in particular, are never tired of singing the praises of the bodhicitta. It was hymn that it was praised almost as though it had been a sort of deity. So much more could be said about it. But tonight we have no time to say anything more on the subject so this must suffice for the present. The question which arises is how does the bodhacitta itself arise? How does it come to manifest itself within us? And this is a very mysterious matter. It is a very deep, a very dark and a very difficult matter.
