The Debate About Memory Cognition
We have these intuitions about what works and what doesn't work in terms of memory. And there's just things that just aren't true. Just spreading, learning out improves memory much better than waiting to the end and cramming. Memory research is very much an effect driven science at this point. We just don't have enough information to have really big unified theories - we're just not there yet.
