Don't post your databases in the cluster and use cloud, um, file storage. Don't worry too much about automated testing either. Even with a small application, it can be very difficult to kind of move away from the services offered by a cloud vendor. Using something like Docker Compose, you can actually kind of do subsets of your application if you need to.
