Gold Dust was a really wild revelatory moment for me as a young gay person watching wrestling with this symbol. My favorite wrestler was a wrestler named Mick Foley who I was just obsessed with and when he quit wrestling I literally cried at home. He gave you the thoughts be like you know what if if Mick Foley can be come one of the world's most famous like entertainment athletes this guy. You get so deeply invested in there it was kind of like there was no social media back then but you every single week you get an update on these people's lives.
