How to Integrate Spacing in Your Course
In the US there's all these sort of strange social norms that seem to encourage the very opposite of spacing as one of my favorite examples is at the end of the semester the students often have fairly intensive final exams. One thing we should always be doing in all our classes are giving students cumulative finals so they can get those benefits of spacing. In other words wait what we don't want to do are have courses where it's 45 minutes of high quality learning and step away and take a break then do a marathon session of two to four hours.
