The Relationship Between Order and Chaos
The idea here is that with this process, it emerges at the border between order and chaos. You have different kinds of pathologies associated with whether or not you kind of lean too far towards order or toward chaos. And so if you suppress one of those drives, what you're doing is you're basically saying, okay, I'm going to maintain order at all costs. That would be like a pathology of order, right? But I guess that's kind of how I would interpret that in that situation off the top of my head.
