Animal Dissection - A Life-Changing Experience

In seventh grade biology class, a student dissected a frog to learn more about the science behind dissections. When she told her classmates that she was not vegetarian, they called her out on it and asked why she didn't want to know how farmed animals were suffering too. As an undergrad at Hampshire College in amorous massachusetts, i began to notice power of those in dominant social groups amongst my fellow humans. My life's ose became clear, and it hasn't wavered since my introspection. And suddenly wanted to do everything in my power to stand up for those who experienced powerlessness.
