The Germans know they have this in the bag, and they're not concentrating on reducing the pocket. They're looking at the signpost leading toward Paris and the rest of France. The crisis over the whole disorder is really a loss of nerve, the German senior command level. And Hitler actually is losing control of the momentum of this advance because he spends more time putting down his army chief of staff from Brexit than dealing with the matter in hand.
