The Search for a Rector

Despite my many disadvantages and many weaknesses, a search committee decided that I wasn't going anywhere. Our community was tired of having a vicar for three or four years and then leave. And so I had been the rector here for 15 years. We were quite integrated into Jerusalem... our children were more integrated than their parents. So again, despite my lack of experience, I knew I wasn'tgoing anywhere.
