The Uncertainty of Leaving Home

I think what was universal about this episode is that if you are someone who for whatever reason cannot travel that much, and especially if you're like a young black person, the first time I traveled outside of the country was for work. And it was wild seeing Marcus almost bloom in Copenhagen in a way that he couldn't in Chicago. In his blooming, it was like all of the stages of it. It was like a flower blooming is a very violent thing. It's beautiful, but it's full of conflict. And there's no promise that it will live or die.
