The book almost doesn't make sense to us today because of how we think of what gender is. He's a much more complex thinker than you might you might imagine it first. I think that the first part of his life he was more revolutionary, and he kind of attracted the revolutionary types,. And then he dropped out of the game because he realized that they were co opting his ideas.
