A GameKeeper's thumb is an injury to the ulnar collateral ligament of the first MCP, the first metacarpophalangeal joint. To me, the key thing is checking for laxity on physical exam. Once you start diagnosing these, it becomes much easier to pick up going forward. You'll know where the anatomy is and how to test for it.
