The Reality of Emotions
A lot of people think this is true because it's one of those ideas that has been disproven, but nobody knows it. The problem with the way that he did his original work was he gave the people lists of emotions to pick. If you replicate this study, and you just ask them what the person is feeling without giving them words to choose from, the correlation goes away completely. And so if I'm going to get picked up by some computer that says like, I might be somebody suspicious because I had like a mean look on my face or something, or even, you know, these programs are also racially biased.
