Jeremiah is delivered from a cistern and continues his conversation with King Zedekiah amidst fears and concerns. Jerusalem falls to Babylon and Jeremiah, who had advised surrender, is well-treated. God promises to spare the Ethiopian unit who rescued Jeremiah.
