The Grey Lady in the Cambridge Military Hospital
"There are grey ladies everywhere. If you find somewhere haunted in England, there's a good chance that one or more of the ghosts will be called the grey lady" "We were arguing about whether to try and angle the episode for spookiness or try and build up a more emotional tale," says co-creator David Walliams. The Cambridge Military Hospital has been described as 'creepy' but not particularly scary. It was once home to an army hospital where soldiers would stay overnight after being injured during World War II. A few members of the public have had benign encounters with ghostly apparitions over the years - even if they're only kind.
