Alquin's Liberal Arts

Alquin wrote attacks on adoptionism and outlined the controversy for a highborn woman. He argued that Christ as a human cannot have been God in name only. Alquin had no knowledge of Greek, so he was restricted to materials preserved from late antiquity. We'll begin to look at his life and work next time.
