Introduction

Richard Nixon tried really hard to exert his influence over how history would remember him. In 1977, he famously gave an interview to the British journalist David Frost. This was when he said the line about how if the president does it, it means it's not illegal. So I want to spend tonight's show thinking out loud about how news becomes history.
