The Dose of Caffeine
Thomas Merritt is a geneticist and professor in the School of Natural Sciences at Laurentian University. Coffee wakes you up by binding to adenosine receptors inside the body, which in turn interrupts your sleep. Caffeine consumed within 10 to 15 minutes of exercising may improve your physical performance but too much could worsen things.
