The Base Rate of Food Insecurity in the United States

In 2019, it's about 10.5% of the population in the United States, or 13.7 million households. We see an increase in decrease right over time, but during the most recent sort of exogenous shock of COVID, we saw first this really stark increase. And so we're still kind of working on parsing that out as to how much of that was ameliorating the impact of food insecurity and howMuch of that was people were home.
