Introduction

The white Christian proportion of the US population has declined by nearly one third, hitting an all-time low in 2018 of 42 percent. White evangelical Protestants have experienced the greatest drop in affiliation over the past decade. Why are people leaving the church? And to help us do that, it's my deep privilege to welcome and introduce Dr. Bill Hendricks at the Hendricks Center.
