Steve Buschimi was a firefighter before becoming the quirky, amazing character actor that we know and love today. He volunteered as a firefighter again after September 11th to help his former brethren in the NYFD. "I didn't yet know what I wanted to do for a career, but at Engine 55 in Lower Manhattan, I found something even better, brotherhood," he said.
