The Importance of Sanctuary in Recovery

I dream of a day when the church is famous for being this compassionate space recognized by everyone. And I often facetiously lament that if only there was an institution of people ready to volunteer in the name of love. If only every town city and village had that group of people ready, we could offer that to people in this mental health crisis. So that would look like a win for me in the long run.
