I think it's a good point because you have to recognize that the benefits of strength training, feeling comfortable with it, really feeling that you're getting something from it is going to take three to four weeks. And so if you're that close to the end of your training cycle, then it's just like, what's the point? You're really just going to make yourself tired and you're not going to get the full benefits of that. So take the time in the beginning to learn the exercise and get comfortable. Maybe bring down some mileage, make time for itBecause in the end, you're going to have a lot more time for running and you'll feel much better doing it
