Sometimes kids challenge the adults around them just to find out how the adult is going to show up. Sometimes i believe the children or young adults in our lives will challenge us to see how we'll show up. And are we going to answer the challenge the way they expect, or the way they hope that will show up? I guarantee you, if a kid came up to you and said, i just broke your car window, what do you think about that? It reinforces what they already think of you.
