strength training period is the only thing that works to prevent faults and fractures. The American College of Sports Medicine has great guides it's completely free they have some videos as to how to properly do squats push-ups and whatnot. One of my favorite resources is this website called EXRX like exercise prescription I think it's.NET if I'm not mistakenEXRX  has a huge library of videos on how to do the most common exercises.
