The Importance of Salt in Pasta Water

Dan O'Brien: Why do we salt the pasta water? He says it makes a difference in flavor and boiling. To personally change the boiling point, you'd have to add like 100, 200 grams of salt. You would need your water to be 10 or 20%. 'The most important thing I take away here is that salt in your pasta water makes the pasta taste better,' he said.
