The Importance of Job Descriptions
Hiring managers often learn something about a candidate and be like, Oh, wait a minute, you can do this too. And it wasn't even in the job description, right? Yes. It's they discover like how you deliver value. This makes me think about when you do meet with people, like really asking them like, what is the problem right now? What problems are you guys trying to solve and really communicating how you can help solve that problem? Yeah. If there's a job posting, like there's a need, that means there's a problem that needs to be solved. And you can help be a solution to that problem.
