His Majesty O'Keefe's Story
An American Irish sailor by the name of O'Keefe had been shipwrecked at the island. He found that their monetary system was just a bunch of limestone. And so he thought after he was shipwrecked and he left the island, he thought, well, I could buy all the coconut that these people produce if I go and get them large amounts of limestone because that's their money. So he chartered a modern boat with explosives to get enormous quantities of limestone. Then basically what happened was a civil war broke out of the island because some of the island chiefs said, no, we can't accept his... Limestones.
