I'm most worried about this dynamic in so far as it leads eventually to our disempowerment. And I think actually both final outcomes are kind of compatible with the world seeming kind of similar to what you described for a while. It's obviously not like fine. There's a tons of ways, tons of ways things can go wrong. But if you remove the kind of actively adversarial dimension that kind of AI risk story, then I think things just look a lot better.
