The Bomb That Killed Brian Wells

The bomb that killed Brian Wells in Agent Wick's experience was one of the most complex improvised explosive devices he'd ever seen. The collar which resembled the design of a large hand cuff was spring loaded with fixed and hinged semi-circular arms. Three copper wires were twisted around a thin tube of blue liquid which went around at the outside of the collar. It contained two six inch pipe bombs loaded with enough double base smokeless powder to fill 273 shotgun shells. Bill also spoke to the FBI who knocked on his door that same day. He told them that he didn't know anything about the bombing and the agents left it at that.
