Global Food Crisis - The Story of Two Thousand and Seven Eight

There've been two really big spikes in the last half century in global food prices across the board. The one is in the early 19 70 around 19 73. And the other is around two thousand and seven, eight, with a second wave that then struck in two thousand and ten, two thousand and 11. In 73, we really saw supply falling short of demand. But what we're dealing with to day is a kind of combination of geo political factors as well as some very adverse climate conditions. Right now, many, many of the major agricultural regions of the world are suffering from drought.
