Shehan writes that other than a handful of people, arabs were completely invisible. The british knew about this and told the grand mufti to put it down to all his people that they had better stay inside. Two days later, the moslem guys rushed in and chased off any jews praying at the wall. They pulled up the little rolled papers from the crevices in the wailing wall and tossed them away. A 17 year old Jew was playing ball with her friends when she got kicked into the yard by an arab family member who didn't like their game. Shehan: "The material for an awful three cornered fight"
