Conventional science still believes that the universe is matter, it can be explained with reference to matter. So does the brain produce consciousness? The other possibility is that the brain receives consciousness and channels consciousness into particular form that then creates your experience of the world and creates you. Science will come to that realization, and therare already some scientists who have enough courage to question conventional interpretations. And its usually scientists who are approaching retirement age,. It would be too destructive for their career to go outside the main stream interpretation. But bhut, once you reach retirement, you've got nothing to lose. You can speak out. And so that's a good thing.
