People tend to think that this process is a lotfa ter, but i think it's a flowed way of thinking. Adults can pick up languages very well and there are many advantages to learning a language as an adult. Kids do have the advantage of being able to become very native in their pronunciation because their vocal chords haven't been formed until they're 14 or 15 years old. But at least likeing your ability to get to a very good level of the language and to be fluent, there's no barriers just because you're of your age.
"I'm just bad at languages," "I'm too embarrassed to speak," "I'm too old to learn." These are some of the things people learning English tell themselves.
