Ask, Don't Tell - It's a Dialogue
Melissa's way of setting expectations, and it was mine too, is it's ask, don't tell. You are subtly putting the monkey back on their back instead of you being the one who's responsible for constantly calling them. If we ask and don't tell, it makes them have to do the work inside of what is wisdom in this moment. And they're telling themselves. So it's reinforcing.
