When we use words like chaos and dysfunction a lot of times what that does is it creates a negative narrative in the organization. What I want to do is take a different mindset and say this is an opportunity for us to improve. And if we can approach it that way with emotional intelligence then we can clearly define what it is we want to change, she says.
