Structured Analysis and Design: A Compromised Approach

There was this whole movement to, you know, actually there's this big fight over how do we, how do we design objects? I mean, seriously, there were people who were getting up at conferences and doing battle with each other. And in the end, I don't think any of these really helped figure out how do you decide what an object is. The thing that the structured analysis and design was really trying to solve was we need bigger more,. We need programs to be written faster. They need to be bigger and more complex. But they'll not be very good programs, but the need is more programs.
