The Complexity of the Cholesterol Conversation
Cholesterol is a complicated topic, right? So you're looking at probably the span of anything from advanced high school biology to graduate level molecular biology to fully understand the cholesterol conversation. The American Heart Association thinks that polyunsaturated fatty acids found in corn oil, peanut oil, soybean oil are good for health because they lower your LDL cholesterol. But the homeoviscus theory suggests that when you eat more polyuns saturated fats, these omega-6 polyunsaturated fats and seed oils, your body has to make adjustments in the cell membrane. And that leads to lower levels of LDL cholesterol in your blood.
